God’s name is not to be devalued. 

Adonai – Lord, Master

Elohim – The Creator

El Elyon - The Most High God

El Olam – The God of Eternity

El Shaddai - Almighty, All Sufficient God

Jehovah Jireh – The Lord Will Provide

Jehovah Mekoddishkem– The Lord Who Makes Holy

Jehovah Nissi - The Lord My Banner

Jehovah Raah– The Lord My Shepherd

Jehovah Rapha– The Lord that Heals

Jehovah Sabaoth – The Lord of Hosts

Jehovah Shalom – The Lord Is Peace

Jehovah Shammah– The Lord is There

Jehovah Tsidkenu– The Lord Our Righteousness

Qanna– Jealous God

Yahweh – The Omnipotent God

God’s name is not to be devalued. 

 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?”  - Luke 6:46

 “…Who swear by the name of the Lord, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth or in righteousness” - Isaiah 48:1

 Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” - Matthew 7:21

“For they speak against You wickedly; Your enemies take Your name in vain.”  Psalm 139:20

God’s name is more than just a word. 

“for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’”– Matthew 23:39

“that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”        Philippians 2:8-11

“Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.”  - Hebrews 13:15

“For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, that they all may call on the name of the Lord, to serve Him with one accord.” -Zephaniah 3:9


“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” - 1 Peter 2:9
